The San Diego International Comic-Con, aka the largest gathering of trekkies, gamers, and celebrities all gathered downtown to celebrate the nerd lifestyle. And of course GUNNAR Optiks was present the entire time!  

Xbox hosted a gaming lounge on the second floor of the Hard Rock Hotel inside the “Legends” room. Complete with 50+ gaming stations and 3 Kinect stages, Borderlands 2, Hitman Absolution, The Final Hours of Tomb Raider, Resident Evil Portal, and a few others. Meaning that all in one place one could practice their first person shooting, receive a tutorial on quiet assassinations, fight off a Zombie apocalypse, and take a dancing break all within 20 paces.

The excitement didn’t end there…every night the close of Comic-Con marked the closing of the Xbox Gaming lounge, but not for the night. Oh no, it would only commence a process of giving the lounge a facelift in preparations for the various VIP parties, a different theme each night.

We are talking celebrities, company executives, and lots of friendly competition, partner all of that with a smorgasbord of finger food and an open bar = a guaranteed good time.
